Commission Environnement à L'OMP

The OMP’s Environment Commission was created in 2021 by the director of the OMP in response to a request from staff for the Observatory to implement measures to reduce the environmental impact of its activities. It is responsible for identifying and implementing strategies for the OMP to comply with the IPCC recommendations to limit global warming to 1.5 ° C, i.e. a reduction in its greenhouse gas emissions by 45% by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
