In response to scientific evidence of anthropogenic climate change and critical loss of biodiversity, staff from different components of the OMP formed working groups to promote and implement more environmentally sustainable professional practices at the OMP. These “bottom-up” initiatives were formalized in 2021 by the creation of the OMP environment commission, with representatives from each laboratory, logistics and administrative services and OMP’s director. The committee meets every three months.
This website was created to disseminate information on initiatives within the OMP.
