Last week was a bit hectic as several problems occurred. Directly correlated to single event upsets (heavy ions and similar stuff hitting the satellite and causing some perturbations. This is well known and affect all satellites to the extent that the area is the well known SAA which stands for South Atlantic Anomaly. This lead to CCN’s not re-locking on the right frequencies for a short period, latch ups of the memory etc.Business as usual expect for one CMN which dd not want to relock and a part of the memory seems to be acting erratically. This is being sorted out but generated lots of questions and analysis. In parallel lots of work was performed on the L1 processor and yesterday the first calibration (deep sky for flat target) was performed. the images are already more and more focussed and we can expect a very clean (calibrated) output very soon. The RFI is obviously an issue but with the improved reconstruction teh spread is greatly reduced and we can start pointing at the culprit!More data soon stay tuned.Yann
